World Congress was founded by renowned Qigong Grandmaster Effie Chow over twenty years ago.

Dr. Chow (9/28/1933 to 10/18/2022) is a world-renowned Qigong Grandmaster energy healer, acupuncturist, author, international speaker, Humanitarian, Futurist, and Visionary. In July 2000, she was appointed by President Clinton to the original 15-member White House Commission on Complementary and Alternative Medicine Policy. She wielded the female influence in the world at a time when it was mostly only talked about. Recipient of the “Visionary of the Year 1997” “The Humanitarian of the Year 1999” and “The Visionary of the Decade 2000” Awards, Dr. Effie Poy Yew Chow has for over 40 years been working to integrate Qigong and Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) with Western Medicine.

“Giving individuals the power to determine and manage their own health and destinies is the secret of true healing” is her motto. The 23^rd World Congress will be held in her memory, and is a continuation of her vision to mobilize each individual to healing and wellness.

• Wellness for ALL – A Model Program for Growth, Healing & Achieving Peace, presented by Dr. Mary Jo Bulbrook, BSN, RN, Med, EdD, President of Akamai University.
• Empower Your Health with Qi Acupressure, presented by Dr. Troy Bennett, Founder of the BAQ Center, Newfoundland, Canada.
